 New Words

1. Biodiversity- The variety and types of       animals and plants found in a particular     habitat.

2. Political map- Map designed to show     boundaries, states, capitals of states, location of major cities and major water bodies of a region.

3. Physical map- Map designed to show the physical features and landforms of a particular area.

4. Union territory- A region that is directly ruled by the central government.
